PDF export
Translated text is drawn back into the original PDF layout. This needs a font that covers the language, and the ones below are not covered by the fonts we bundle.

Scanned PDFs (OCR)
Reading text out of a scanned page needs a recognition model packaged with the app. For any other language, a scan fails with a clear message — it is never silently read as English.
